Find a home

Welcome matWe manage more than 5,600 homes, including houses and apartments, across the Midlands in areas such as Wolverhampton, Walsall and Sandwell. Our list of available homes is updated on a regular basis - for the latest list, please contact us.

Waiting lists are currently open for properties for single people and couples aged over 55 without children in the Walsall borough.

Waiting lists for other areas and for people aged under 55 are currently closed due to high demand.

Please note that most of lettings properties outside of Walsall are now managed using a choice-based lettings system. This system allows you to ‘bid’ for council and housing association homes. To sign up to your local choice-based lettings system, see the links section.

Deciding when to open or close the waiting list depends on many factors. Firstly, we calculate how many available properties we expect to have during the course of the year and then estimate the number of people we need to keep on the list in order to fill the vacancies that we expect. Once most applicants have been housed, we then re-open the list.

This method is used to avoid applicants waiting for exceptionally long periods. We don't have other associations' waiting list information. For information about other housing associations in your area, you can click here.

If you are employed and earn less then a combined income of £60,000, you may be able to rent one of our intermediate rental properties. Click here for more information.

If you are a recent arrival to the UK and want help in finding a place to live, you can visit the Housing Rights Information website, which has information on entitlements to housing in England, Wales and Scotland.

To request an application form to rent a home with us, contact our Customer First centre on 0300 111 7000 or email customerfirst@accordgroup.org.uk

Do you provide homeless accommodation?

We do not provide specific homeless accommodation, such as hostels or shelters. If you are homeless, you should contact your local council for information and advice. You can also visit Homeless Black Country's website.

My circumstances have changed during the application process. What are my options?

If your circumstances have changed in any way, please call our Customer First centre on 0300 111 7000 and we will be happy to help and reassess your situation.

If waiting lists are open, can I request further information about the location, rental cost and whether pets are allowed, etc.?

When our waiting lists are opened, they are opened for a whole area rather than specific properties. Therefore, it’s not possible for us to give you specific details about each property. We can give you an idea of rent levels if you contact us.

If you have a question that hasn’t been answered above, call our Customer First centre on 0300 111 7000 or email us at customerfirst@accordgroup.org.uk
